Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sales Readout Software (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Readout (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Information we handle
- Account information — your name, email, and authentication details, managed through our identity provider (Clerk).
- Workspace & connection data — the systems you connect (such as Odoo) and the operational data we read from them to build your reports.
- Billing information — subscription and payment details, processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & log data — technical information such as requests, device/browser data, and diagnostics used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use it
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your reports;
- to authenticate you, process subscriptions, and provide support;
- to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your connected business data to train models or for advertising.
How connected data is stored
We read your connected systems over a read-only connection. Each workspace’s data is kept in a physically separate, encrypted warehouse, and access is scoped so one workspace cannot read another’s data. Connection secrets (such as API keys) are encrypted at rest.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We use a small number of providers to run the Service, which process data on our behalf under appropriate terms. These currently include:
- Clerk — authentication and account management;
- Stripe — subscription billing and payments;
- Render — application hosting, United States (Oregon);
- Amazon Web Services — the per-workspace data warehouse, United States (us-west-2);
- Cloudflare — DNS and inbound email routing;
- Resend — transactional email (sync notifications);
- Sentry — error monitoring;
- Anthropic — only when the optional AI add-on is enabled, and only for the text of the question asked.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. On termination, we delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
International transfers
The Service and its data warehouse are hosted in the United States. If you are outside the United States, using the Service means your data is processed there.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and operate the Service.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the updated version with a new effective date.
